Quality Children’s Programming.
FPCSS is committed to quality Christian programming, to encourage and equip parents with the tools and resources to be the primary spiritual influence in their homes. Kids are engaged with God’s truths through relevant Bible teaching, music, small group discussion, large group worship, and age-appropriate fun and fellowship. The ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade, with Sunday school, regular programs and family events.
“I love coming to church” ~ Molly, age 9
Sunday Morning / Worshipping with Children
Children are a blessing and are welcome participants in Sunday morning worship services.
When needed, families can participate in services remotely in the Nursery, with live audio broadcast of the worship service.
Activity bulletins are provided in the Narthex (Sanctuary foyer) for children, along with clipboards and crayons, to help children enjoy worship services as they grow in their ability to follow and participate in worship.
Children begin gathering for Sunday school at 9:45 am, with programming from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children promptly and attend worship services at 11:00 am.
Children three years and older attend worship with their families and participate in the “Children’s Moment”– a very special short lesson especially for them, about 10 minutes into the service. The children are then escorted by ministry staff downstairs for “Children’s Church”.
