Who Are We?

On a personal level, we are "Children of God" following the path of Jesus Christ.

On a congregational level, we are called into community with each other and built up by the Holy Spirit to live, to worship, and to serve, becoming the hands and heart of God on earth.

On a regional, national and global level we are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA),  a denomination of approximately 11,000 congregations spread across the country.   The Presbyterian Church also has many connections with congregations worldwide whom we know to also be our brothers and sisters in Christ.  See below for links.
The regional branch of our local congregation is Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery.   This branch works to connect all the churches in eastern Oklahoma,  (link to: http://www.eokpresbytery.org/)

Presbyterians rest in a confidence that God is gracious beyond our comprehension and that God is reconciling the world to himself in Christ. There is a joy, a peace, and a freedom that comes from recognizing that in Jesus, God has done for us what we couldn't do for ourselves.

Presbyterians also are inspired by the forgiveness and love we have experienced to share good news with the world. With so many people unaware of the good things God is doing in the world and the joy of living in Christ, it is our goal to bear witness to Christ in our lives through our words and our actions.
