New Oxford Study Bible (3^rd Edition)—A New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) study Bible with very good academic study notes.

New Interpreter’s Study Bible—Draws from the excellent New Interpreter’s Bible commentary series to put great study notes into an NRSV Bible.

HarperCollins Study Bible—Perhaps the most accessible of the NRSV study Bibles for those who are new to Bible study.

Serendipity Study Bible for Groups—A great NIV study Bible from a different angle. Rather than give explanations to help better understand texts, it has questions. Intended for use with small groups, it moves from opening questions to progressively deeper ones on each text.

Presbyterian Church

Presbyterian Church (USA)—www.pcusa.org is the website for our denomination. Find many great links here, especially Who We Are (including our beliefs and practices, how we are governed, how we are organized, history of the PC(USA), statistics and surveys, and much more) and U.S. and World Mission (including all kinds of great information from our missions involvement in the U.S. to a variety of missions efforts around the world).

Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery (EOP)—www.eokpresbytery.org is the site for the “district” level of our denomination. EOP, which covers roughly the eastern third of the state, is one of three presbyteries in the state of Oklahoma. This site helps show how Presbyterian churches work together to do joint ministry in our state.

The Presbyterian Outlook—www.pres-outlook.com is a site for a weekly news source on life in the Presbyterian Church (USA). It is helpful in that it hits most issues that come up in the church from a variety of angles.
