Adults

"Everybody is on a spiritual pilgrimage; every body.  Even the guy who curses God.  Our task is to relate to other fellow travelers who are on the same journey; to learn from each other."  Taken from Holy Conversations.

While our schedules are often quite hectic, Sunday School at FPC doesn't start until 10:00 a.m., so there's still good time to get an extra few hours of sleep on Sunday mornings before getting up and heading in. What's more, there are three great classes that adults can come and plug in to, with a variety of teaching styles and subjects.

Here are a number of ways that adults can learn and grow into faithful and committed Christians.

Sunday School Classes
  • Pairs and Spares-  Mature adults of men and women
Meet upstairs in the parlor. Uses the PCUSA's "The Present Word" Adult Bible curriculum.
  • Saints and Aints-  A fun-loving group that is always inviting.  Meets downstairs across from the restrooms. Greg Maloney and others facilitate.
  • Library Table  Don't let the name intimidate you--it just refers to the room where we meet. Currently they are reading through the Bible in one year.
Along with these great options comes an openness: is there something you'd like to study that isn't being offered? Your idea could feed into one of our current classes or help start a new one. Additionally, you'll find that all of the classes are filled with great folk with whom you can build deeper relationships and enjoy serving alongside.

Consider joining us this Sunday morning for Adult Sunday School, it's a great opportunity to grow in faith, knowledge, and community!
